A chronograph watch is a watch equipped with two systems to measure time independently of each other. The first indicates the time, and the second allows for the precise measurement of time in smaller or larger increments. The watch is characterised among other things by the presence of a chronograph hand generally located in the center of the dial, with its travel (start, stop, and reset) driven by push-buttons situated on one side of the watch. It also differentiates itself from other watches by the presence of a subdial that allows for the totaling up of the minutes (over 30, 45, or 60 minutes), and sometimes an additional one for counting hours.
